How do you select your images?

We have currently reviewed over 50,000 images for the current site. Our team of experts constantly review submissions from photographers worldwide, ensuring you the greatest selection of New York inspired photos. It also enables us to back everything we sell with our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

What if I can't find a particular print I'm looking for?

If you are looking for something in particular that's not on our site, please e-mail us at requests@photoNewYork.com and let us know. We will try to add your request to our ever-changing inventory.

Can I just buy an unframed photographs?

Yes! We offer all photographs both framed and unframed.

How do you frame your quality images?

photoNewYork is pleased to offer 16 high-quality, elegant framing choices at affordable prices. Our team of framing experts has over 25 years experience in the framing of quality, museum-preservation images. What are the frames made of?

Just like any custom shop, our frames come in a variety of materials - solid wood with various finishes, as well as metal custom cut frames.

What kind of mats do you use?

We stock only hand-beveled cut, top quality mats. All materials used in our custom framing process, including our prints and mats, are acid free.

What credit cards can I use?

photoNewYork accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

How long does it take to process an order?

Once you place your order, unframed orders are shipped within 24-48 hours. Custom framing takes time - But, we're fast. It generally takes between 2-3 weeks for most orders to ship. Corporate orders typically take 3-4 weeks to ship, as do custom orders. Add additional time depending upon the shipping method selected. For example, UPS Ground typically takes 5 business days. We do offer expedited shipping (Fed Ex) for an additional fee. Feel free to contact us for additional information.

How do you ship items to me?

We ship unframed and custom framed prints and photographs to your home or business via UPS ground service or Federal Express for overnight service. All of our items are packaged in boxes we custom design to protect your frame and print during transit from our warehouse to your address.

Standard UPS Ground Shipping usually takes 2 to 5 business days. We also offer Standard Federal Express (Overnight).

What if my order arrives damaged or is incorrect?

In the very unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we will of course immediately remake and ship a replacement to you at no charge. Please contact us at: orders@photoNewYork.com.

What is your Return Policy?

We're so confident that you'll be happy with your purchase that we offer an exclusive 100% money-back guarantee. We understand you may have some hesitation about ordering an item you have only seen on your monitor. We are confident of the quality of our merchandise. So, we offer you our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

At photoNewYork:

* You can return your custom framed print, within 30 days of purchase.

* You will receive a refund for the purchase price of your print.

* You pay your return shipping costs.

* If you had a shipping charge, the guarantee does not cover that charge.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we'll do everything we can to make you happy. However, you can always simply return your order within 30 days of receipt and receive a 100% refund. Please note: Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not refundable.

Of course, as rarely happens, if your art is damaged on arrival, we will immediately ship an identical replacement to you at no charge.

All framed photographs sold by photoNewYork are custom framed and boxed in state-of-the-art packing materials. In addition, because we want to insure your order is not damaged during the shipment process, our frames are shipped via a certified parcel carrier (UPS or FedEx) for your satisfaction.

photoNewYork fully guarantees the package you receive against any bending, tearing, breaking or any other kind of damage which may occur during the shipment process. If you receive a damaged shipment, you should refuse to accept it from the parcel carrier and you will not be charged for that order. If for some reason you obtain the damaged package anyway, or if we made an error in the processing of your order (i.e., if you receive the wrong image or an image which you did not ask for), please do not mail it back to us - notify us within 5 days of receiving the package, and we will arrange for a pick-up.

If you are in any way unsatisfied with your order, please contact our customer service department within 5 business days of receiving your order and we will be happy to assist you - all returned goods must be shipped back to us no later than 30 days after the date the order was initially delivered. photoNewYork will credit you for all orders returned to us (at your expense) in resalable condition, and will provide replacements or store credit for any custom order items.

Please note: we cannot offer credit for items which are returned in damaged condition, and recommend that you use an insured carrier such as UPS or Fedex for return-shipping. photoNewYork cannot accept responsibility for unsolicited returns - please contact our staff before sending back any items.

Do I have to pay sales tax on my order?

Sales tax is added on to orders shipped to New York, regardless of where the purchase originates. At this time, all other orders do not incur sales tax.

Do you have a Copyright policy?

The photographs on this site them are the intellectual property of each individual photographer exhibited. The photographs may not be transmitted or reproduced for any reason without the express written permission of the copyright owner.
